A calm, creative morning to slow down, make something beautiful, and carry home a handcrafted mandala engraved with your own personal intention. Guided by artist Amber Stefani, this four-hour workshop is designed for complete beginners — no artistic experience needed, and nothing to bring.

- All materials — paints, real gold leaf, brushes, and your laser-cut mandala board, all set up and waiting when you arrive

- Your Sacred Word Intention — your chosen word, phrase, or affirmation, laser-engraved into the inner ring of your mandala before the workshop day
- Your completed mandala — you leave with a finished, one-of-a-kind gold leaf artwork to take home and display
The Sacred Word Intention
Before the workshop, you’ll be invited to choose a word, phrase, or affirmation that feels meaningful to you right now. This personal intention is laser-engraved into your mandala’s inner ring — the quiet heart of everything you create around it.
It might be something you’re working towards, something you want to remember, or simply a feeling you want to carry with you. There’s no right or wrong. Only what’s true for you.

What to expect on the day
Arrive at Root Café at 10:30am to find your materials laid out and ready. After a warm welcome and refreshments, Amber guides you through every stage — there’s nothing to worry about and no wrong way to do it.
- 10:30am — Welcome and settle in, refreshments from Root Café
- 11:00am — Introduction to your mandala and sacred geometry
- 11:15am — Painting begins at your own pace
- 1:00pm — Gold leaf application
- 2:00pm — Final details and finishing touches
- 2:30pm — Take home your completed mandala
Who it’s for
This workshop is designed for complete beginners. Many participants have never done anything like this before — and are genuinely delighted with what they create. The session is relaxed, unhurried, and limited to 15 people so the atmosphere stays personal and supportive.
It’s a wonderful morning for anyone who’s been meaning to slow down and make something with their hands. It also makes a beautiful gift.
About your guide — Amber Stefani
Amber Stefani is a Norfolk-based artist with a lifelong obsession with light, sacred geometry, and the way art makes people feel. Her work has been shown at Canary Wharf, Latitude Festival, Light Night Leeds, and Love Light Norwich. Her workshops are known for their calm, welcoming energy — exactly what she brings to Root Café every session.

Can I buy this as a gift?

What’s the cancellation policy?
Places are transferable at any time. Refunds are available up to 7 days before the workshop. Within 7 days, transfers are possible but refunds are not.
